1 - SYNDICATE
Co-Investors Sign the SISAT to Become an Investment Syndicate
All co-investors sign the syndicate agreement and thereby form a simple partnership. The investors designate a Lead Partner who represents the syndicate.
2 - SIGN
The Lead Partner Signs the Investment Documents
The Syndicate is represented by the Lead Partner, who can sign the investment documents for the co-investors. On the cap-table, the Syndicate appears as one entry.
3 - INVEST
Co-Investors Send their Contribution Directly to the Company
Each co-investor becomes a full shareholder. For the company, the Syndicate appears as a single ticket investment, because the co-investors hold the shares in joint ownership.
The BAS initiated the SISAT project and uses it successfully to syndicate any deal where the minimum ticket size is too high for our members to individually invest directly.
